Features
EKAN® AIR 21 forms permanent microscopic bubbles in concrete and mortar. EKAN® AIR 21 provides active protection for concrete against freeze-thaw cycles and the movement of salt released due to thawing.
EKAN® AIR 21 also has a plasticizing effect on fresh concrete. It limits and reduces the amount of segregation as well as concrete bleeding.
The use of EKAN® AIR 21 avoids many of the incompatibility issues between concrete, sand, and additives.
Its high-efficiency movement characteristic promotes compatibility with all superplasticizers.

Application
Dosage: 0.2 kg – 1.5 kg per 100 kg of cement. EKAN® AIR 21 is completely water-soluble. It is recommended to add the product to the second half of the mixing water. The optimal dosage should be determined after local testing of the desired mechanical properties of the concrete and the workability of the mix. Precautions
The shelf life of EKAN® AIR 21 is 12 months when stored in its original packaging in a dry environment protected from direct sunlight.
After a long period of inactivity, shake, stir the product, or use a circulation pump to homogenize it before use.
After a freeze/thaw cycle, stir the product before use.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
