Features
EKAN® CURE is a ready-to-use curing material that prevents rapid water loss from concrete, screeds, and surface hardeners. It is easy to apply and reduces plastic shrinkage cracks caused by rapid drying. By enhancing surface abrasion resistance, it prevents dust formation.
EKAN® CURE helps concrete, screeds, and surface hardeners reach their target strength. It minimizes shrinkage and allows for curing and the achievement of maximum concrete performance without affecting normal setting reactions.
Since EKAN® CURE penetrates fresh concrete, it does not create a surface layer, preventing detachment from the surface. Thanks to its water-based formula, EKAN® CURE is suitable for indoor applications.
Instructions for use
Areas of use
- On all internal and external concrete surfaces.
- Immediately after the application of fresh concrete and screeds.
- Concrete surfaces and screeds: flooring, containment areas, roofs and terraces, highways, parking lots.
- When fresh concrete/screeds are exposed to sun, high temperatures, low humidity, and/or wind.
Application
Dosage: Coverage 7–10 m²/kg.
Surface preparation: clean, free of dust, oils, laitance, and loose parts. Apply EKAN® CURE in a thin, uniform layer using a low-pressure spray pump (or roller/brush for small areas). Recommended application temperature range: +5°C – +35°C.

Precautions
The indicated coverage rate is a guideline and may vary depending on the substrate and environmental conditions.
Excessive use may cause surface staining due to variations in applied thickness; distribute evenly to avoid accumulation.
Protect the surface from wind and direct sunlight during application.
Wash hands and tools with plenty of water immediately after use.
Store in the original tightly closed packaging, in a dry place protected from sunlight; typical shelf life is 12 months.
