Features
EKAN® DECO-N is a solvent-based retarding additive applied to formwork surfaces to achieve a textured (exposed aggregate) appearance where aggregates are visible on the concrete surfaces.
EKAN® DECO-N retards the hydration of the cement on the concrete surface in contact with the formwork. This process makes the aggregates more prominent on the surface of the treated concrete.

Application
Dosage: —
Apply EKAN® DECO-N in a thin, uniform layer onto freshly finished concrete using low-pressure spray (or roller/brush for small areas), avoiding pooling. Protect the surface in the following hours; after the curing time, remove the surface paste with high-pressure water washing or brushing until the desired degree of aggregate exposure is achieved.

Precautions
The shelf life of EKAN® DECO-N is 12 months when stored in its original packaging in a dry environment protected from direct sunlight.
After a long period of inactivity, shake or stir the product, or use a circulation pump to homogenize it before use.
After a freeze/thaw cycle, stir the product before use.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
