Features
EKAN® GCT 30 is a retarding and plasticizing additive.
Thanks to its special formula, the product provides excellent dispersion of cement and other fine particles within its binder paste. This excellent dispersion ensures hydration over a larger surface area and increases homogeneity, while significantly enhancing strength.
EKAN® GCT 30 offers the following advantages:
- Increases workability.
- Reduces segregation.
- Superior finishing characteristics for flat and cast surfaces.
- Controlled retardation – depending on the addition rate.
- Provides flexibility in scheduling placement and finishing operations.

Application
Dosage: 0.1 kg – 1.5 kg per 100 kg of cement. EKAN® GCT 30 is completely water-soluble. For optimal performance, it is recommended to add the product to the second half of the mixing water. The optimal dosage should be determined after local testing of the desired mechanical properties and the workability of the mix. For further information, please contact EKAN technical sales staff.

Precautions
The shelf life of EKAN® GCT 30 is 12 months when stored in its original packaging in a dry environment protected from direct sunlight.
After a long period of inactivity, shake, stir the product, or use a circulation pump to homogenize it before use.
After a freeze/thaw cycle, stir the product before use.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
