Features
EKAN® HZ 40 accelerates cement hydration and speeds up concrete hardening. It promotes hydration over a wider surface area and more uniformly, significantly increasing compressive strength.
EKAN® HZ 40 is effective in reducing the risk of crack formation.
EKAN® HZ 40 is a set accelerator for concrete based on water-soluble organic and mineral salts. It particularly protects concrete from freezing in severe cold conditions.
EKAN® HZ 40 does not have a water-reducing effect.

Application
Dosage: 0.5 kg – 2.0 kg per 100 kg of cement. EKAN® HZ 40 is completely soluble in water. For best performance, it is recommended to add the product to the second half of the mixing water. The optimal dosage should be established after local tests on the desired mechanical properties of the concrete and the workability of the mix. Precautions
The shelf life of EKAN® HZ 40 is 12 months when stored in its original packaging in a dry environment and protected from direct sunlight.
After a long period of inactivity, shake/mix the product or use a circulation pump to homogenize it before use.
After a freeze/thaw cycle, mix the product before use.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
