Features
EKAN® POWER 105 is an additive formulated to improve the grinding of minerals and is particularly recommended for cement grinding. It increases mill production (from 10% to 25%) depending on equipment efficiency and the characteristics of the material to be ground.
- Reduces shrinkage (initial hardening) and grinding energy costs
- The risk of false set is reduced due to lower grinding temperatures
- Improves the physical properties of the ground material and increases bulk density
- Improves powder flow characteristics before, during, and after storage.
- Compaction and pack-set tendencies are significantly reduced.
- The particle size distribution of the cement is improved, resulting in more complete hydration.

- All types of cement compatible with ENV 197-1, types I to V, and aluminous cements
Application
Dosage: 250–750 g per ton of cement.
The optimal dose of EKAN® POWER 105 must be defined through local testing based on clinker grindability and the required performance. For more information, please contact EKAN technical sales personnel.

Precautions
The shelf life of EKAN® POWER 105 is 12 months from the date of manufacture, provided the product is not altered with other chemical substances.
Below −5°C, EKAN® POWER 105 may form crystals.
In case of crystallization, agitate at +5°C or higher until reconstituted.
EKAN® POWER 105 may cause irritation upon contact with eyes and skin.
General industrial safety precautions (goggles, gloves, and mask) must be followed during handling.
If EKAN® POWER 105 comes into contact with the skin, wash immediately with water.
EKAN® POWER 105 is fire-resistant (F.P. > 100°C).
In case of an EKAN® POWER 105 spill, remove with water.
