EKAN® POWER 302 is an additive formulated to increase the early strength of cement and is particularly recommended for cement grinding. It increases mill production (from 10% to 25%) depending on equipment efficiency and the characteristics of the material to be ground.
- It reduces shrinkage (early hardening) and grinding energy costs.
- The risk of false set is reduced due to lower grinding temperatures.
- It improves the physical properties of the ground material and increases bulk density.
- It improves powder flow characteristics before, during, and after storage.
- Compaction and pack-set tendencies are significantly reduced.
- Cement particle size distribution is improved, resulting in more complete hydration.

Areas of use
- All types of cement compatible with ENV 197-1, types I to V, and aluminous cements.
Application
Dosage: 400 g per tonne.
The optimal dosage of EKAN® POWER 302 must be defined through local testing based on clinker grindability and required performance. For further information, please contact EKAN technical sales staff.

Precautions
The shelf life of EKAN® POWER 302 is 12 months from the date of manufacture, provided the product is not altered with other chemical substances.
Do not mix EKAN® POWER 302 with other products.
Below −5°C, EKAN® POWER 302 may form crystals.
In case of crystallization, stir at +5°C or higher until reconstituted.
EKAN® POWER 302 may cause irritation in contact with eyes and skin.
General industrial safety precautions (goggles, gloves, and mask) must be followed during handling.
If EKAN® POWER 302 comes into contact with the skin, wash immediately with water.
EKAN® POWER 302 is flame retardant (F.P. > 100°C).
In case of an EKAN® POWER 302 spill, remove with water.
