Ready-Mix Concrete Admixtures
Features
EKAN® SHOT P10 AF is a set-accelerating additive based on aluminum sulfate used for shotcrete.

- Regulates concrete cohesion, reducing the risk of rebound.
- Distributes homogeneously in the concrete.
- Does not negatively affect durability.
- Eliminates the risk of alkali-silica reaction (ASR).
- Is compatible with concrete pumping equipment
Instructions for use
Areas of use
- Tunnels, bridges, subways, dams, and underground works
- Areas where curved, domed, or overhead forms are desired
- Sprayed concrete applications with high setting speeds
- Slope stabilization
- Underground concrete surfaces
Application
Dosage: The product must be dosed in a range between 3% and 10% of the binder content in 1 m³ of concrete. EKAN® SHOT P10 AF is completely soluble in water. For best performance, add the product to the second half of the mixing water or pre-dilute it with water before application. The use of Portland cement as a binder is recommended. Use aggregates with a moisture content of 4–8% to reduce rebound (ref. ACI 506-66). The optimal dosage must be defined after local tests on the desired mechanical properties and workability of the mix. For further details, contact EKAN’s technical sales personnel.
